I ordered this after reading a few reviews of other plant poisoning books. We just moved to a 100 ac farm and have weeds and grasses galore. My horses have always been stabled and it was a handy book to have to know if what I was letting them graze was harmful. We also make hay, so I wanted to make sure when we bale that we can reduce or eliminate harmful plants. Fortunately, most of the really bad ones we don't have, but there is Bull Nettle, which I am working to eradicate. I hope this book will serve me well for years to come. Yes, it was expensive, but when you have horses that cost thousands of dollars and other pets, you'd like to keep them as safe as possible.
