If you are looking for a "Clep"-style study guide, that actually condenses the material from the full-version text and explains the major concepts, then I DO NOT recommend this study guide. The chapter reviews are in the form of very basic outlines that name the important concepts and events but do not explain them. Likewise, the book lists key terms to focus on but doesn't define them. If you plan on reading the actual text that goes with the study guide, then the study guide is a great tool because you can read the chapter outline and know what to look for/ focus on as you read each chapter in the textbook. Again, if you are looking for a summary of the text (like I was), prepare to be dissappointed!
